Welcome to Witney and David, this isepisode. Seven, I'm here with David, who was a little less catinated than hewas a couple minutes ago. Yeah Sti, I o O Coky le But happy October, happyOctober, late October, its also yeahanyways social media run downsocial media. Yeah, Instagram, facebook, twitter, Nick David Show Atnick Davi,so ICK David Show follow us and send us a message what you think of Ha Shell, ane ingestions comments, threats concerns we go on, BE GUESS: We've dotesome good topics too, and the past episodes yeah. So thank you for a guessfor our vewers Nayeah. As always, ber on hitubs a go play:Music and Podsy Yeah Cool, quick news thing. Before we start. Actually we got some lisiters in California. I Emy family. My brother in particular, shout out of Chris he's hell, be aShoun Outto, my boy CR I'll, be ATN wy when he listens to this anyways. Hewants to visit Wocester and seventy persone of the reason why he wants tovisit is because he really wants to be a guest on the show. No, so we might,we might have them on the show well and Eric Wossers, like I feel like wereferiend some once an episode, but he's Goingto come back and visits thathe can be able to show too Shas Evoi Aric SOTEDTO, my boy arits alriht game.No S, that's agame! That's a thing! Now! That's Ho thing we're Haly coopting atthe homies all right. Well, at any rate, let's get cafated into this and get toyour o start with your topic. Yeah I'll start ith, my first righ do it Trivia?Oh uckesthat stil exist. It still exists right, tol got millions ofpeople. So for those, let's think who don't know what ISC tribiate is it's on the apple in and Anteri? Now I think Ilaston Andreid and it's basically a live curviewr game, so you can tune init. I think three, two or three different times a day and a host named Scottrekowski.Sometimes they have guess host, but usually it's him reads out twelveincreasingly difficult trivial questions to you and you have to answerov ten seconds to answer you question and if you get to the Twelvth, yousplit the prize money with whoever else wins right all right. So that's justbasically what it is I this is really interesting. It'sreally weird, because previe has been around the US for a really long time, but like this there's something different about this. So first off Iwas wondering I wanted to know like just out a pure curiosity, where allthis money was coming from, because they're giving e away like fivehousand plus dollars a day, yeahthe cross, all their games like they're, giving way a shit load of money andthey're no as or anything right, so orthe there didn't used to be like atthe start. Yeah D, You know the money coming from. I do I wait to that yeah.So it's back by venture capital. So it's it's exclusively literally SiliconValley, investors bedding on it, making it big and being profitable in thefuture yeah, which is crazy to me that they're just throwing money. It wasalso started tangentially by the people who startedbuying yeah. You know that Yeah Awell, but soit's investors betding on it, making it big and it started making it big. Sothey have parterships and deals with like Warner, brothers and Nike now, andthey do adds like on the show and Stot e gasskowile. Like talk about things,he gave Awan tanke shoes, one dy, remember I yeah Heyin Yeah Shes Yn. Soit's crazy. Do you still? You don't still play? No, but you did. I rememberyou were really into it. If I don't win, I makes me feel stupid and I need dowin you one di on once se a one thats mony Taa. I won roughly four fiftyfourfour dols and fifty sents not to get it. transfere t your main, a No.It's Si to thin in my I'm waiting for it to accumulalate. Before I make a bigtransfer Du inflationis going to hit you better try to that right o anyway. So so I have a couple problems with HKTrivia. I don't play regularly. I still have it on my devicesso first off the Qin terms of Trivia as itself, the...

...questions are absurd, like they haveabsolutely nothing to do with. Like actual knowledge, you know what Imean like the tool: e Ran N and a lot of the time. You end up just pickingsomething, but if you pick the right thing, you still get that sense of,like you still feel like intellectually superior to everyone else, even thoughit's totally meaningless and arbitrary. So I have a problem with that. The New York Times has described it asthe best worst thing on the Internet, and the Atlantic has ciptionit is rightand the Atlantic has called it like a symptom of ECOMING dystopia. Basically, the Atlantics argument is that Trevia has existed for a long time, but in thepast it's been like a collective event where you bond with people- and you liehave all this time, and this is more about because you have ten secondsnot of time to console with anyone to do anything. It's more of aninstinctive like it's testing your astake, not your, not your consciouceknowledge yeah, it doesn't bring people together. I mean I have you read likethe the live. Tedi goes really quick, but you can chat yeah and it's not tomy knowledge, no one totme well, but people type in random. I mean no. Theyjust collectev Le Tim Iht people hartrally s like shouting the voice andthey say the wrong answer. Yeah like cos or whatever and se like fuck, youguys or whatever, and then it's like yeah. It doesn't rot people together, individualizes people, yeaaly need sense and Scottwar Owsky, I'm sorry, but he's the most annoying individual I have ever watched. He is a like be listAmerican comedian sealist. Even he had a couple shows they all failed, andthen they picked them up for Acep Trivia. What ar the he calls himselflike? Are People Calli like Trivia, daddy or like HQ Daddy? He callseveryone hqds he's the most obnoxious person is investor perspective, thoughI mean he's cheap ye, invest in something she Hav, but he put like HolyShit, but so I think my real problem with it is that you have. You haveliterally millions of people logging in every day at specific times, to playthis arbitrary, meaningless, triviut game that basically only like it captures you and makes youredorphins race and then spit you out with nothing at the end and takes upfifteen minutes with flashy graphics and a really annoying anoxious guytalking at you, and it literally feels like an episode of Black Haiger to me, like Itis, the most dystopian likejarry experience, I played it. I fi guilty playing myself, but I just don'tfrom a purely logical perspective. It makes zero sense to me. Yeah, I mean Welso, my question: Why doyou think people play it then? Is it because they want to win money or is itbecause you know you don't win that much money when you do win, I thinkit's. I think it's because of the possibility of winning, and I thinkthere are a couple other things I feel like if, when you're playing you'reanswering the questions, you've got that kind of MANAC hi right like it'san adrynaline thing, so that that draws people in even if you lose because ofglitches or whatever it's kind of a sense of like, like that sense of like frustration orlike infuriation at the game, kind of motivates you to say, like we, I'mgonna. Do it next time, like I'M gonna get back at them. You know what I meanyeah and then also. I think that it's genius that they have the Games, it'swhat it's like, ten and three and then nine genius facing, because it gives you ifyou lose the first hape, because you just enough time to like get your hopesback up and were gating that sense, sof optimism before the next game, likeit's not like a constant thing. It's like you've got a wind over recovercoperate and because it's only three times a day, it's there's exclusivityso like when you whenone does come on you're like well,I'm kind of still mad, even if you're like I'm at a little bit, you're likewell, it's only on to Mor Todea Gota. Do asbal right exactly, and I anm kindof like that thing, with e intellectual with the questions bae so likearbitrary. If you met the right, you still, you feel like look at all thesedummies, like I'm but smarter than them. But if you get it wrong, you can belike that questionis stupid, like no one, so it's kind of like playing bothsides yeah. I in my opinion I mean I did it because my roommate last year, shotos opressed and I don't know yourAlysti, this jesss es Ert- is so aric. Cha aric plays this to Walesli yeah, nohe's listening, so he can make press to listen. Oh Yeah Eric Make JestImpresson Lisin this. They had me play it because they wanted to refer me toget the extra life. So tey get a question wrong. They ced, you know whatI mean, so I just got I because of that, and I don't the reason why I stopped was becausenot because thereare a million people playing in the amount of money Wut aslow but like there is no, I mean, like you saidthere is no way to okay lost. How can I get better yeah like no? I don'timprove. We talke about video games in the last episode likethere's a part about like being able to work at something ortrain it, something or whatever right an sports like that kind of thing likewith this, like it's really just random and even like jeopardy, Ilwatching somebody you've seen jeopardy...

Yeahi like I'l watch it like how thehell do you know about this, but at least with Thot, like their categories,so y kind of mentally get yourself in that head space. Now, the only way towint to improve a Planis tribute is just o play a ridiculous, I'm surethey're being very careful, not to repeat questions or anything to so eventhat probably doesn't help. No, it's literally. It's the death of culture, yeah and it oesit creates a very toxic environment, but it is it mean it'sgenius, I mean they did it for the Super Bowl. Oh yeah, we played duringSYEA. Well, we had so we had a super bowl watch party, which is actually fun in a that Sholl, because I don't really care about the NFL. U Buto Ban that in hard for thePatriots Yeah, and so anyway, we well a'll uppload. The video of David yellike Tom Brag is a idiot ontowourd social media fuck upguys, I void Tomno how O my boy, N SSN, just all right, ca t anyway. It wasinteresting because a lot of people watching out or what party, includingme, kind of really I mean think it Wa shit about the game. But it was Oh, myGod, it's taff time, H, triba is giving away how much they GIV. I was Fiketz Oyeah, five hinred H T it was a big number and I think that there was somestatistic I mean they had, maybe not as many, but they had close to the amountof people watching the Super Bowl tuned in to deplay age group at Insane, andso these investors I mean it's quite a genius thing: Oh it's beautiful and themarketing like as psycoogical aspect. The only problem is that you know vinecrash an Burd yeah. Now you got the same people making AC Contribia if theywere to go in a stock market or if, like I would, I was asked. If I wantedto vest, I would look at their history and say, like you know what I mean yeah, but clearlythat hasn't stopped them, because they have all these investors giving themhello money. And then I wonder how much money like make ye your like yeah. Ihave no idea gives them, but but it's just absurd. I just wanted to talkabout that because everyone's playing it and like it's ridiculous yeah. So ifyou don't know about HQ Trivia and Google you'll find in every New YorkTimes all street Er eahits everywhere and it's viral, and I hope we don't getin a time where there is a you know the audience being able to participate in agame show from the comfort of your couch as a huge thing right I mean it'skind of Araini. I see what black hair is. Putting a bluck airs all about thedystopian stuff and they're actually puting. On episode of bird to chooseourown adventure on Netflix, that's huge yeah, but that's what I said. There's an interactivity aspect when American idol focused on the fact thatpeople could call right and vove that was huge, yeah and now everyone does it.No everyone doesit and everyone's, like Oh yeah, like you text whatever it'slike no big deal an tha APP en anything now the next level of that, I think, isthis idea of Hfutrean, like I hope not, but I would not be surprised if, in thefuture I mean TV might get phased out. AlTogether, I don't know actually know, but instead of jeopardy, you have peopleplaying like from home from home yeah because it the cover of their couci awe as o. We have to Tek for that. Like yeah, it's Commonso, crazy, interestingyeah. All right, you want to move on to your topic. Yeah, let's take a brick inYoah rigk. Will they write? A A coffee will be back. FTER thesethe NBA ispreseasons going on okay right, the regular seasons going to kick off emeto I am a Miami Heat Fan. I've always beenone I still am, but I also like I follow Lebron James Shark, because Ijust he's awesome. I love him but still focus more on the heat. I don'treally know much about the Lakers, but anyway, what I wanted to talk about was there's a lot of hype with the prestyUso, a lot of stuff- and this is relevant- not just the NBA but kind oflike pop culture. Shart, I'm going to talk about Kanyo West again, I'm justso tired, Puart, more painal, me too, but this is why Ik Likeso- I guess hein a TMZ thing said: Like Hey, Lebron James should have stayed in Cleveland. He could have served his community better. The kind West said thatrecently itste after you left after you, Jus, like on Yeah Leron James, went tothe Los Angeles. Lakers is everybody. I hope knows now. Right and Konye Westsaid that Lebron James needs to be in Cleveland. Okay, his point is, you knowyou can serve your community better there bubbe Mo Bob, a Los Angeles, doesnot need right any more help than it's already getting. Lebron James startedthe school, the the whole I promised on...

Yection, and all that which we'vetalked about on here before, but it's he opens the school and if theygraduate the school right, they get to Gopall to ther Pan Tocolloge educationwith basketball, and all of that, like I mean he's very influential, but hestill has his goals and he wants more rings and he wants to be as successfulas he can be right and I almost feel like we're at a with cabernick and Kanyo wes is trying to step intodifferent markets to and like the Bron James. Everything like there's anexpectation now that if you have a platform, you know it's great and I think it'sawesome that people can use it and make it more than basketball, orm writingtheir music or whatever for the greater good of the world right. What concerns me is that conny West also said that he's arranging or hasarranged a meeting with Dan Gilbert, who is the cavalier's GM okay? So we don't know why he's meeting him, butit could be literally anything at this point I mean that's what I mean likestop, wasting your time, worrying about what Ibron James Doing or whatever, like you, want to go back to Chicago and help your community there do itright right. I just there's a line where you're stirringthe pot versus trying to tell the people like hey like you should have. You should make an impact and do this. But honestly, at this point I feel likelike based on that interview that you're talking about, I feel like likepeople from Cleveland, are upset they're, not as upset now as they werethe first time you left like it's now. It's like yeah, O, you o you go takeoff like you've done your part well, and I might be speaking for the peoplea saying wrong things, but in my the mind that I've kind of gotten fromliving here and like kind of talking to people in Cleveland this fast summer, sort of like Yeah Lebron left Cleveland, like you said, nobody's mad, but also there's this mindset of and not n anegative way, but like sure, we don't need Lebron James to yeah Carrius likehe did great things for us and he brought us together, but we're strongand we're going to keep that straing right. Even if et's not the time forhim to yeah, and I feel like Kad wes being like. Oh No, like Cleveland needs.Tebron you should have went back honestly at this point, should justshut the fuck out yeah sorr like if he just if he just stope talking andstarted making music like actual music again it'd. Be that yeah. I feel likehe's, making Cleveland sound like it's on crutches and it needs someone tolike come over there and like and like save them. Yeah we kind of insoult, youknow what I mean and, like Los Angeles, doesn't well. How do you know like te?Most Las, pretty fuck up, yeah mean everywhere's fucked up but, like everyone everywhere has its problems, and I don't and it doesn't really say what he's addressing and this is, is in the media and it'sprevalent and like I just don't know how much of it is gossip and how muchis it you know I mean this is what they're talking about now and I justfeel like do people besides an the NBA and the NFL withPelica Capitatan Rightt like? Is this the thing with soccer to or othersports? Like Golf, you don't hear about this golf, not real tennis, you kind ofStraio Williams or Medolll fetter like do they have any foundations oranything, and it's weird and soccer, because if you're from a small townyou're like you play for them, but then when you go big, it's like it's likewhor, like our boys out there doing that, like it's not like the Igou haveto stay unless you're from if you're from like Manchester and you grow upand play for Kelsea people are going to be like. Why are you playing for aLondon Tave Yor from Manchester? You know right and then you do. The playerswho, like like Fernando Tora, started at Leta Co, Madrid in Spain, where hehe's from and played with them. I came over played in the Eglish Lik for along time and then went home and it was like a homepuvic and he's playingreally well. It's like there is like an element of like state ture to where youare, but also, I feel like it's a lot less pressure like it's really only aproblem. If you go play for like a rival yeah, it doesn't really matter likeother than that have the money and the resources and the you know heart to still positively affect your communitye. That was Er Oui IR. She is having like why. Why is there a problem? I don'tknow you know what I mean and hes. I you're right. Yeah moral story likeConya just needs to shut up, and we just need a I'm tired of seeing him inthe headline yeah. I hope we never have to talk about him on this podcast again, but his watch will do something like crazy the next week and we'll be backhere Ly. Unfortunately, yeah, that's Thas, problemdisney movies, Disneymoodies, hisney movies, specifically...

...have you ever had a conversation withanyone or brought up an anever class, especially COM about how racist Disneymovies are yeah, not just racist, but there's alot of sexism. Oh Yeah, O theyre oed up there ar yeah, they're, really t onesor seeall the above, mostly old ones like classics, so likethe jungle book like I'll just I'm just goinna go through a couple on like thebig big picture, Tate Chunkle Book, Great Movie, Love that movie all theanimals have like an English or American accent. The are they're all like verysophisticated. Even the vultures are based off the beadles right and thenyou have Kingloui the monkey, who has a very distinct Africanamerican, accellent yeah and he's lazy and demanding and likeit's just he's, just a walking stereotype. You've got dumbo. The Gangof crows are the name of the Crow leader is Jim,crow and they're, all like speaking in M, really dialect yeah y. What it'sblatantly racist, definitely fuck. I didn't even know that it's a wholething Peter Pan. When they're talking about the native Americans, they sing asong called what makes the red man red yeah. I Remi just Peter Pan, mufflepantatio in t in the Aristacats, you have a scene there's a Siamese catplaying a piano with chopsticks shouting fortune cookie, always wrong, which is. Are you cutper funked up little yeah MMany times, AristicatsAllright, I'm sorry Little Mermaid Savasha an the crab, Haveyou jamacanaccent, kind of offensive, there's also a blackfish in the thing with like fulllips and it's kind of reference to black face so some stuff don on there Aladin isthe big one. Everyone talks about. Alatin is probably one of the mostracist, because the villains are all dark. Scannd, theheroes are all superlight skinn at the beginning. There's that openingsong about Agraba about e the place and it's thelike hooknosed vendor, trying to like sell you, cheap goods and one of thelines in the song is where they cut off your ear. If they don't like your face,it's barbarric but hey, it's home its just it's just Disney movies are justfull of racism and sexism and everything else like you said, and so my question is: What do we doabout that? Do we still watch them because I, knowing that I still voluntarily watchDisney movies, which jist kind of keep that, in the back of my mind, that, like hey just say, you know his are playing in a stereotypes but likeshould we not be? I mean that's a great question, so here's thething I'm going to try to break this dound bes clear and efficient aspossible bbut. This is the big. This is there's a lot to impact you right.First of all, yes, I think it's okay to still watch it. Okay, as long as I mean, if you want to and you're aware, like it's okay to watch and say yeah, this is I don't. You Know Racist OmophobicsService, whatever the you know, it is discriminates x. You can still watch it,though, like whether you want to analyze it and see how you thought. One thing when you watchedit the first time and now it's another. Rather you just want to watch it lot IK.But if it came out now like if these movies came out today, would you stillsay that? Well, we talk about movies or Disneymove dishe like if these Disney movies came out, because I consume a lot ofmedia content like I ut you, Mi Likeri, teft, Ato, okay, the racist and sexistyeah. I enjoy it, it's funny, like not t like the game. I like it a lot butDavid, a joyous racisms. I don't enjoy Racisan Sexo, but the game is funny, but it has elements of racism and sexism sure etc. But that's not Disney. So are yousaying Disney? Because are you saying that Disney is like this like becauseit's aimed towards children and young audiencees is there like? Do they havea responsibility like a SOCIALISPO, that's kind of what I'm getting? Ithink I think they've gotten. I think they definitely have gotten better withit over the years as one would expect yeah but, like I know when I was a kidlike it lit, was like sleep like aliveent sleeping beauty like it wasall thes like. I grew up on Disney movies. I don't know if that's ourgeneration well, I did a project in high school. I can't reall Remembr, I'mremembering this, but I did the history of the Disneyland theme part, and therewas a rye. You could go on the first like twenty years. They we yeuhavesomething and you can ride on the cart and you're going around in like ancient. You know he times and stuff and there's native Americans. They say. Indians arelook at the Indians and they're all dressed up in painted faces andeverything and they're doing all the stereotypical stuff right yeah. So,like they're doing I ther chance and everything H ch, but it's not but like you're, like a white personsitting in a car pointing at them being like. Oh my God, I get that like welllike you're alienating that yeah, and so it's not just the movies, but it'salso just like their their theme park. I mean it's everything I mean. Can you name a movie thatthey've put on the last five years? That's been, you know, like that's, been like thatracist sexist, because here's, the thing too, I feel like we also live inthe time now where people say Oh therethey're, kissing ass to being pcright right, I mean like...

...shoot. What was IT JK rolling? I forgot what it was, butthere was something that she did, that: Okay Cut, that besides, that I feellike like we live in a time now where, when people try to like break the normtoo much people comment or react and say, stop trying to be tolerant. Accepting we all tnow you'rejust doing that to get Surt, you know what I mean, and so do you thinkDisney's doing that, or do you think they're really putting in you know Imean I don't know like I've seen. I think I honestly I th the idealisticsite of me wants to say that it's a natural evolution that they're not likeyeah, but it's like just they're recognizing that they can't like it's not the thing with politicalcorrecthess is that it's not like this big thing that we've created it's like. No, these things were always wrong and now we're recognizing it right, but I think it's still okay,it's still okay to consume content, but maybe is not PCSUR right because you don't want to just eliminate, butas a kid as especially as the kid these movies are being watched by childrenyeah and I shuld also clarify. There's l there's a there's degree of how Imean you don't want to watch some of theespecially Disney movie with like hate speech or whatever and Rit Y, the waythat they carefully leave conceptions and norms into these old, especially the old, Disney evens, even all the princess movies, where it'slike, always like a princees hase to be saved or whatever, and it's like ud inthe Beas Li, her MUC, like sex, yeah, yeah, er, sleeping beauty. I think Shrek was actually because ourtheme two episodes ago was the Shrak teame yeah. I would be watching some ofthat and, like they kind of, I mean Shrek kind of shits on the whole thing.Oh Yeah, oh you locked your daughter up in a castle because I loved her. Ohyeah sure you did like who the hell does that you know what I mean yeah Iwas watching. I was like, Oh my God like, and so I don't know I mean. Ihope that the e con argument, though, is thatlike. Why are you going to make a Disney movie where so and so like? It's, not the princemenprincess anymore, like what? Why is the Princess Gay like what? What are youdoing like my child now is asking you like why she likes girls. Like there'sarticles, I so tall your Thiland, that's what I mean like why? Why not belike? No, this is how the world is. Yeal people are always like you'regoing to make. My me have this conversation with my like. What do I dowheth my child asked me like you tell them, like you tell them, you don't saylike your child's not going to be, I mean you feel what you feel you. Youknow what I mean like they're, not Goingno, like get brainwashed intothinking that you know, because we lived in society before where peoplewere growin up to say that Bol, it's allegal yeah to be gay and it's illegalwhatever so people, it's not that people weren'tit's that people hit it yea or people had trouble identifying themselves. That's interesting! Yeah! What do you guys think? Do you guys think that werethis a lot of stuff to himyeah? What O you? Second Justis, just yeah Yeah Hi,this up ie're going to take a short break andwe will be back in the studio with our gast Omuch ceojosocomfowelcome back to with Nickand David just reminder. We are on social media at Nick David Show, and Ickth avid show we are also social media, instagram, switter Faseblol, we're alsoon itns and Google play music and poppingthat eon, potify, okay guys. So we have our guest now Grac Olary. Welcome tothe show. I thanks for happening GIN is so excited. KNOWMETO. You, like Areyou,Readyi'm, sorry to talk about Assomr, I'm kiddinget, beause whatelse. I talkabout awesome. Okay, so where are you going to just JEM on yeah? Well, let'sstart David D: You listen. I know there, one Song S, suicide! Quad, you knowseasons, that's the one othat's like the worst song, so what kind of Jon arethey pon? Would you consider them like? That's the debate? Theyre David, reallyGon Wer. They are yeah they're like a alternative rock. I guess, but they'realso like a little funk. butnew albums more, I would say more rock yeah. They JI would say more rock yeah.

They just leaked. It's a POSTEC amount, trench October fifth, but it leaked yesterday a not trenchly. Yesterday, yeah, that's what I'm saying be yeah, so we got a little outdate with that, butI'm here to talk about sort of their promotion of trench, because it'sreally really wild what they do so Twan Palat has like a huge fan.Pauling. I don't know if you guys are aware of that yeah, but it's kind ofinsane. It's like you. If you're a twenty onepilot ban- and you know who the other twenty one pilots fans are, we'recalled the click scaleit a click. It's like, as, like a cult favid. Ikind of this I would say, Ti Im on the outside of the Coland Nacessarily, trying to work or way in yeah. You know like well, I don't know if I'm likeready to like commit myself to that Colt lifestyle right but, like you know,I want to keep updated some of the ik O, whatever it happens, but anyway, Iguess I'll just start off with how they first released it, and I talked aboutthis with a lot of people. So I'm really passionate about this on theirwebsite. Do the SINSEIS insane in April they had a gift on their website. Youguys give regit a switch of. That is a whole other thing. I is like reallyabout that: Yeahs actuall, Topicheraic, okay, but English lingistic, SAS Aif,pan but gift. I that I like thatthe point is that the word is graphicthat,we're coming from GNA GIF. What well Wer talk about this Gife comrs will beIBO. It's N, initialism, tthe, fuckis initial. It's an initialwim! I've doneto come back. TAT have anyway o they had a gift on theirwebsite and it was a TV screen and at the endof the gift they added in a link and people found this on their website alot of the fans, because what else which on one pilots fans do exceptcheck the on, but I every watch Wa, Jo overearlier yeah, and so they typed in the link and anerror code came up and it was like not founderea. Let me find Teerco thatcame up. It's sait, you are in violation, theymust not know you're. You were here. No one should ever find out about this. You can never tell anyone about this for the sack of the other survival. Youmust keep the silent. We must keep silent. No one can know. No one can ow.No one can domb violation code, not a bunch of numbers, cool little freaky. Then they figured out that if you put the violation code numbers at the endof the link, it takes you to another website. Who are these people with ismuch time. Yeah Thesa full subredit, though it's pretty crazy. They likehave the timeline like T, starts on April, twenty ont at four twenty, whichI think is a conspiracy, but that's why yeah and then so the other website you go toand there weren't as many postes there are now, obviously because they keptadding them. But one of the first couple posts were like these weirdpictures. There was a note from this kid guy named clancy and so lanti keepscoming up on the website. Oka He's talking about this placecalled Dema Dema DMA, which s also reference in tecome niners, which cameup befor yeah yeah. So it's all freaking connected dude, it's insane Bu, there's another post whereits likeidentified as failed perimeter, escape failed prmer escape fpe is a Twemon pilets thing. The free, prod and emotional. I believe. Did I just do that? Lon pissed, I sen Alon thing, but FP is linked. Ohyeah feel prod emotional idids. Actually,I'm Sur thes Ete things interesting, because I I've been listening to Neco on thenight like it's been stuck of my head and that lyric is coig up and I keepthinking. I have no idea what that means: Yeah, okay, okay, fothere's, aLik oatra. So this website they tape. This is cool, they typed in the numbersand they got this Lik secret page second yep and all these things, because I'm looking at a computing there's images and there's like song. These are lyrics or names of songs or like. How do you know like this is coolother than Lik Hai know it's Othe Han! You Got Theh you'rereading this ar you likeokay. First of all, yeah like Wol, I found the secretwebsite I but like like what so some of the first postthat were on there like this clancy guys journal. This was before alot of the album came out, so they people were like this is like secret, like this is like in Info about the songs and where we can find the songsfor the blory face. IONLY did the same sort of thing where you like find thesongs on yeah heard bout like you like, went to ther was like a scabvenger hunt, kind of thing, aeally yeah, so it's really intense. So it started off withthis. The few prod emotional, not free, prid, an emotional but hopefully freeand thethere, were other photos as well,...

...and there are dates for every photo andsome of the photos and deates lined ut to other album releases so like theiroriginal album and then their birthdays. So it was like linking it back to themand then there's like this weird tower thing that keeps coming up and theytalk about tower and one of the songs over and over again and there's apicture, I'm like scrolling through the website, this picture of a tower. There's these just like weird, yellow lines. I don't know if you guys howmuch you know about them. They like do a color scheme, Fr ach album and then, when they'r do doing their concerts, like they'll change, whatever colors, depending on what songs, they're singing so like the first likeselftitle, album that one last of a color teamust, because it was the first one but actually like greener. But the vesselis like red and blue and the blurry face is black and red, and then thisone it seems it's going to be green and yellow, and so you already see peoplelike that are going to their concerts ar weaing like worliors, like Camojackets like yellow crosses it. Is this whole like the more you think about it?It is also intoti sense, because guy I went, I went to point one pilots concert. I think I want to say it wasvessel because Gra yeah, it was definitely bestful and and everyone waswearing colors and I felt like I had missed like a memo and they hasomething like I was like. When did they tell people, and but that makessense now that I know there's a color same so like for blurry face like therewas this whole thing about how people like they go off the music video solike music vidos are huge part of like Titon pilots brand. So, like stressedout, did you ever watch stresse out HUS, video y? That sounds so I probablydid't, like H, remember. I was on a little trick. Yeah yeah and he's gotlike the black paint on him and like the red hat and that album he has the white glasses anda Kamono is like a big thing that people wear so like that's whateveryone wears two concerts and actually, interestingly enough year ago,in two thousand seventeen yesa year ago, when the tour ended for glory face. JoTyler is posted a picture of him in the sink like you just see the sink and theblack pain, okay, Wi Boshmol yeah, and then he didn't tweet for a year hedidn't to et for a year the end, the last weet same thing on their twentyonepilot twitter account. The last week was- and now I just sit in silence, which is from one of their like most famous songs, com, radio and they wereliterally silent for a year and then all the fans got an email is like. Areyou still sleeping and everyone's like old crafpic, her ov, the album likewe're all getting ready for it? So they really just like hyge this up. It'sreally kind of insane all of the thought that goes into it. Imean this website, like it's so really interesting, like there's a gift oflike a Chita running and a bunch of letters and one of the new songs, pet CHEATA EA,like that's a whole thing, and all this ties into like tylers is all metaphorfor his like struggle with like mental illness. It's so it's a really coolmessage. That's why a lot of people have taken to it, because you canreally run with a one of the lyrics a can you think of another any other bandor anything that puts this much effort into there. Iwas just going to ask ThetI mean: Is this like Revolutionary Yeah? They really are wow and there are twoof them. There are two of them to yeah. That's that's ridiculous. It's like meand David starting a band, and then I wouldi wouldhave folln a bandeverywhere. They went wcros book folk, Idia VM. I cound do fol if Iwas drunk In'tthiniu uwith like wait, so okay, but so what so? I don't know if someone, Idon't know anything about, I d'ed know there was just two of them like that'sYeahi, so it's Ao, it's really just like. I want to get Josh all the credithe deserves, because I o, but he really just plays the drums and plays thetrumpet sometimes so it's mostly tyler like Onas hedoes, the piano he playsUclale. He does all the vocals. He like mixes it together and he lierates likeall the lyrics and he's putting together this like whole thing: Themusic videos. If you have a chance to watch them, there are three Ar rightnow: Junk Suit Nico, an the niners andlevitate and they're all a story of this Dema Organization of like Tyler, leaving, Dema or Dema or whatever it is and like Josh Saves Him, obviously, because I wouldn't Josh Sav bin Wot, but it's really cool yeah. It's likethey filmed an island, actually fun. Fact: Oh Really, COOL MUSIC! Video! That's is super cool yeah, so I mean it's. I could just talk about it. Idon't know how interesting other people think it else, but well, okay, assomeon like yeah. I know' nothing about this, but I think it's cool that, likeit's not just hype around an album or a song like it's, you say so it'sconnecting...

...theres this secret website andobviously the albums everything like it tells a story about. What's the name,Tyler Yeah, Lik Tis, like life and like his like journeys as all that yeah andhe always has a like at least the past. Two albums, like is had a character soblory face, was a character for the last album, and that was like sort oflike depression like fighting against that and now there's this clancy guywho the hell like he shows up on this website multiple times he writesmultiple letters like he's, just like I have to get out, but it doesn't seemlike clancy is tyler because in one of the letters he references watching likeTyler in one of the music bases. So the more that I read about it in the moreI'm like who the hell is this glancy guy thit's not Josh, either because youreferenceis Josh as well, and so that was like the last post and that wasthinkeach. Other so they're updating that too. I don't know when the lasttime it's been updated, but he came. It came like peace, Malir, Wa, ohyeahdropped. Okay, like started this startid in April, and then a bunch ofpost came out again in July Gosh and then they were lik sort of calm downfor a little bit until they started dropping songs, and now there are foursongs that are technically out and the rest of the albumlessly. So, okay, so I'm not that into twenty one pilots Ido like Pomon cots ave been o their concert ilisn, my music, I feel likewhen I started listening. I this is going somewhere, I'm not just talking.I feel like when I started listening. I was like this is revolutionary. It waslike car radio, like era, and I was like this is fantastic. This is exactlywhat I needed and then blurry face came out and for some reason I don't knowwhat it was. But a lot of my friends had this reaction to it was immediatelylike I turned off like immediately. It was like this is way to axt. This isway too poppy like that areyou. My sister did my sister, we I din't knowbut like I'll, feel like a lot of my friends like that. Like a lot of myfriends well, I know heays, it was ginting, so much radio play thateveryone was like. I'm done, I'm tired of listening to it, those top fans yeah, honestly yeah, but so I was like thatthis is this is like I'm not a fan anymore, and thenthey started releasing their singles for trench and jump suit was the one Iheard first, because I was listening to like a all bronx station. Yet and Oh myGod, they changed their sound. So much for that Song- and I mean this albumsounds different like clearly different yeah than therer other stuff, and Ithink I'm back on the train, but I feel like I feel like I'm back on the Badway. No, I feel like there's still like some discontent around, like you feel likethere's a pushpack as a twenty one, pile fan against the yeah: Oh Yeah, okay, so my sister is felt the same way she was like. bloryface was fine, butit was way too poppy yeah and I think a lot of people felt like that becausetwio powits, like they were the kind of band they started off playing inColumbus to like twenty people, and then they just like took off so a lotof the people. I think that felt that Theye were like there's like thiswholelyke. True Fan, right, quote, unquote: kind of feeling that a lot ofpeople have, because I mean the first two albums were just so intimate likejust and so different like or radio is such. It was a spoken word, poem firtthat he put over music. Basically, and so like. That's, not something that youreally hear on the radio, and then you start to hear that a little bit yourelike Oh, that's, really cool and the lory face comes out and, like peopleknow only heathens like David over here and they're, just like the top, likethe click is like what the hell is going on rig. This isn't twenty onepilots and I think even this album. I think the hope is that they go alittle bit back to what they were doing before yeah. I definitely think my sister actuallysaid that she heded jump suit. I belieave like she was like Su, is justannoying. He just says jump Sut over and over again, and she thought thateven that was too poppy so, but they still got this huge fan to, but no, Ijust so do e you much Bojac Corseman, okay, the new season can it's a reallygood show howly recommended irrelelant like erless of this, but there's like a casual scene. They justrifp off, like moderin things and like current eventsand there's a casual sceme where they're like, and this really owpardsituation in the car, and they turn on the radio. And it's like this reallylike like uncomfortable awkward thing andhe's like all hange the channel and he changes it and the the radiois. Likenext EP. We have a song by twenty one pilots and he changes it back as and everyone on twitter. As soon shat upsit, im Aout, everyone was like they made fun of twoit e Palase. I knewI like Tho jk Corsemen and all this. I was just curious because I see that, like all over the place, people like like you're, either really into it oryou don't like it at all. Yeah I've got this weird like when people like Teyr, like Oh you're, a twenty one, pilots fan and like I don't know why peopleare like that man. So what gets associated with that? What if Iwat was the Stereios Ham? TETY ONEPAS fan, anxty EMO, probably like Goinna cry, Lith Cot, O yeah ot topicis good. I sory it as that why people didn't like them and they got all poppybecause they weren't like that. Like stertypical, like ANC emo, like I don'tthink they ere ever email, though like...

...they were never Tis, just a GNNA FI hottopic might sell their shirts, but I wouldn't say the twenty one. Pilots ishot top an per se. I think people got angry because now people are like. Oh,it's Twima, pilots. It is this hot topic like emailme kind of group andthen like no sure like this is actually something because it's so meaningful.Like people that listen to Swion pilotes are I like in the like- I don'twant to say core group of fans, but, like the original group of t, fansusually are struggling with a lot like there's. They have been like a voicefor like depression, anxiety and that sort of so just like lyrics that theyuse like death inspires me like a dog, inspires a rabbit like people get theirtattoos like that. All the time they' like thank you for like saving me thatsort of stuff. So I think that, if you take like hold onto that so closely andyou just like that's exposed to everyone else in the world, ih I'd bekind of mad to I'd, be like well, that was mine. THAT'S NOT YOURRSE! I think Ithink that really first like like they want me over, wasn't even any of theirsongs. It was that video on Youtube Tyler play ecalalien singing, can HelFil love on my God, you're listening pause. This go watch that it's reallygood, so wort in also thei live recording of migraine because I playd Iplay piano, and I listene to that. An was like I can do that and I startedplaying it and I can play it. I can't say it like for Shit. I wonder I wonderif I could do all the lyrics to that doing now. Bat. I also feel, like Ifeel, like twenty one. Pilots wins people over in a way that not other alot about other artit. Like ISAID. I went to this swing on palocsconcert. It was with one of my friends from home matteline who I sent her car radio like when it wasfirst like going around and she listened to it and like fell in lovewith it and was like this and listen to it on repeat over and over again, andthen I kind of forgot about it like that she was listening to it and thenshe texted me and was like hey. I have these two twenty one pilot tickets andmy friend flake do you want to come and I was like. I was like, of course likeyes and I, but I didn't realize that she had like gone from that one songlike the entire album and then bhought tickets. When they came and likeseshe's in it now good jrey yeaht, not Bein, it haveyou been to a concer. OhDavid, I've been to like five S, Liis on and I'm gon yeah and like they're,coming to Columbus. I'm gonna, like you, don't just go to One d: Twenty one:pilots, Contes you go to all this Tu. How does thit can okay confession? I'veactually, aside from like ie sound super bad, I've been to opera, WALV, Kaical Shiti've actually neverbeen to a concert. So what I know it's different from the artist and what yougo to, but what addictings not the right word but likewhat do you feel after, like what I? How does it make you feel going to aconcert to a contraon to RM hilots Tim Drain, ilets concert consly Dran DRI.Did you go in the pit or were you want to see because there's a differenceyeah we were in the see and then we kin moved around okay, try to Ge Seerveu. The concerts like that they put on are incredible, like incredible, like Oothe to people iave seen I've seen, village Oll es Sherand, like I've, seena bunch of different people and twingepos concert was different andbetter than I don't know like what it is. They just have a shit ton energylike they just so I don't know how to like. I can go to aconcert of twenty fios. I could probably see them five nights in a rowand Sti be just as excited the fifth night as I was the first thing, and Ithink they do that in like a way like for every like glory face concert, for example like after the end of a specific song like Tyler, like they puthim like under a sheet under the piano and then he'd like disappear and he'dshow up somewhere in the in the Venu like just like, show up there and likeevery time. So you like knew it was coming like the giant, the gianthamsterboll yeah, Tate Yeah, so is it like you're sort of letting out I mean? Are you going on like an emotional like exr? Are you going like through theirjourney with them in the concert and by the end you're like Oh, my God or is it?I am I kind of getting yeah like I screen those Leris. I don't know howmany Soik you knew but like there is like just something like everyone knows, all of the words basically like if you're in that concert- and you don't.I swear, I didn't know a couple of Tho e songs and I still knew them somehowlike I was like I was like they were saying them. I was like. I don'trecognize this and then I would end up just like screaming the lyrics, because, like yeah, you know it like you've heard if you listen to as like powerful,it's crazy and so actually as a five foot, one female. The pit is not theplace for me because I can't see the pit for those of you who are notconcert guys or the standing room right in front of the age and that's becauseyou only go to opera yeah. So, like you want to be in the pit likeas a twentyone filots fan, you wait forever for pit tickets. People Startlining up days before so they can get to the front. Like Oh camp out, it's ahuge thing. Thatve gotten in fights...

...about lines due this is like Twe pilosculture is its own. Culture were a we hold on we're at twenty one minutes, one of the Ot out there do do fans like each other yeah yeah. I actually made acouple friends. There's this one kid I'll use his instaram towitter beach,Maverick who I know I love Follo Yeah Doit, but he actually just he was theone that send me the leakues album over instagram and he was one of thefirst fans and Tyler was like. I see you out in the crowd and like one ofthe like OA and like Columbus, a nation wid. I think it was and he was likethat Cin has been following us like the whole time like shout out to him likethere's a video, it's amazing, likewe yeah. So, like we sai in contact alittle bit like whe'rnot, it's, I talk all the time, butl right, efollow, eachother and stuff like that, because that's also whay, I think about to islike I don't think if I went to a concert I feel like especially depends on when you go right, like it coun be pretty like Rowdy Youh K. Ow, like I mean fans, don't like Imean, there's mashing yeah, it's like friendly mashing, like you take care ofeach other. They share water like washing in general, is is well I meanhat as people yeah. I can't do it because people just pick me up and kindof comny reices, but thatbe drinking crazy. That happened you when I was Iwas in the pit for one concert like I had to leave because, like my body gotpicked up by other peoples, body and just kind of just moved, and I like tobe in control at all times, Yurday yea. So that was a no go for me, but mysister loves it. She's, like I want someone to punch me in the face. That's prob me like that energy. Iguess I need to go to a concert, but I also don't here's the thing I don'tknow any of the lyrics for any songs. Besides, like heathens like maybe likewhat is it car Radiois, the other one yeah Naega stress out yeah, I knowt'sjust oo like if I went to a concert, I'd be like no right now or are you saying that, like I'm, Goingno get some like spirit energy like that you, like you'll, bepossessed yeah? This is the kind of band you could go to not know. Angy ofthe songs at still have a really good time, because they just have so muchlike the literally e, like Nickoas, saying, like he takes a Hansterball andruns out into the crowd of people like over a over them. Like he's o an answer about like aplastic thing like on top of no it's a good concert, I have to ask okay I haveto ask to- and this can be not just about twenty one Bilas conce, butanything in my especially ie never been to one.If I ware to go to a concert I feel like, I would need to be like not likesuperintoxicated but like do you guys go to these things like sober and youget this energy or do you have person depend like I guess I' have a hard timelike going from like Oh, like I'm going to go to class, and then I'm going toget in a car and drive to this concert and all of a sudden change. Like my Otimean David, I actually might have an extra twimon pilot ticket for this show and if you want to experience it, youcould come with me see. That's so scary. It's not we're in seats, we're not inthe pit. So there's no mashing don't have to listen to grase wm. on nit, though yeah my voice, Ulbe gone at the that's H. I've heard everwowait like when is the concert we can talk aboutit after I yoer so is. Is a over yeah we'll get our listeners to come.Commeon I can make. In David sextually already said, we were going to record, live and ask for worlds of trapi Scott and that's not going to happen yeah it's just this thing. I mean it'sAl. My bucket list I need to go to like I need to experience on concert.causeeventually I'll, have kids and hiy'll be like this concert. I'm like. What's I cal wether, whether or not you go to the you end up going to twentyone pals yeah, an conditioner going to brace bine the Columbus with Max. Id'teven know what that is so t you listen, O Muse, I listen tomusic Eiasicrithdisney Musicso Ryour top band right now, Twe I woal Sayi Thothey're consistently, like my tile, like Mu, go to, I think aother artistssort of shift around but they're like my, so you always listen to them inlike any mood like does it make you ever like every give you like theexcited music wher. I'm like I can't listen to this. Unless I want to feelsad or I want to feel like you know what I mean. Well, that's the coolthing about te passes, Usan sort of like pick whith songs like you want tolisten to epending on your boobecause. They have just so many different fields.Go Oun or just like album wisean be like Ohyeah. I feel like being in like this weird state of like is the world awfuland rainy all the time, then listen to selftitled or be like I'm thinking more, like coffy pump up blaring face yeah no well I'll have to okay, honestly, Iwill listen to it and well have you on again before the end of the semester,so I ater right after the concert right after the concert whatever and I will by then I'll at least have listen to alot of their music and I will share Myi'll, bring in some videos orsomething like that Ini, because you...
